Brown Universtiy, Here I Come!

So here I am at the Charlotte Douglass International Airport waitng to get onto the plane. The first flight was extremely long but fun. First of all, it was an eccentric feeling because it was my first time on a plane! I was really nervous and excited at the same time. Right now, I am just waiting for the plane to depart. I am really looking forward to meeting new people at Brown University and taking that experience back home with me to share it with my friends and family back west. Although we are not even at Brown, I feel the that I had accomplish a lot just by choosing this experience. I know I will have a great time! I will continue updating all the readers about the experiences at Brown. As for now, BYE!

Meuyy--

Your first flight and your first Ivy League blog. A day of firsts and before it's over you'll be at Brown. It just doesn't get any cooler than this.

My first plane ride was after graduation flying down to Disneyland on grad night. I has a window seat over the wing and when I looked out at it I saw a big patch of duct tape on the top of the wing with a huge streamer of duct tape flapping in the breeze. Of course, I was hoping that the plane wasn't being held together with duct tape but being a naive teenager I was too reluctant to ask the flight attendant about it. One thing I learned early on was that you never ask a question if you're not prepared to hear the answer.

We have people back home here sitting by their computers day and night waiting on your blogs so don't disappoint us. Send at least one a day--more if you have time and don't forget to send photos and video clips.

All of you are our eyes and ears and we'll be living this dream right along with you except that you'll be the ones actually doing it and we'll be the ones living it through your words and photos.

Have a great flight north and remember to have fun.
