Nice photo's. I am glad that you have found your voice. Your posts have been riviting and has given me a better understanding of your values and personality. I did not know that you had such strong feelings about including males in the class.

A reason why males may be excluded from the class is that studies show that boys tend to dominate in class and thus it prevents young women from having a say in class. Many studies also show that young women feel intimadated and only open up around other young women.

So you are having a unique experience with the make up of the class. Your voice is powerful and we hear it loud and clear and I am hopeful that you will pull the professor aside and tell her your thoughts. I know that I would have been scared to say anything when I was in the 10th grade. So I am glad that you are not and that you are willing to examine and explore each of her comments and reject them out of pocket for what you believe is things that are inconsistent with your feelings.

Boston and the East Coast have a lot of history and so it is good that you are being exposed to the life in New England. It provides you a look at another lifestyle and shows you that their is a bigger world outside of Richmond California and the Hilltop Mall.

So keep absorbing everything that is around you since you only have four days left before you have to leave from Providence. And thanks again for the great pictures of the Water Fire!!!

Go Oilers!
