Back at brown!

I was fortunate enough to be given an opportunity to come back to Brown for the symposium, and I am very welcome for this opportunity. I am excited for tomorrow! Very!!! Tomorrow Gina, Jessica and I will be visiting some lectures, I'm excited for this because this will let me see another side of Brown.

On another note, the flights were pretty smooth, we are all very tired. :) Robin Rose picked us up from the airport and we had dinner with our summer instructor. I was really glad to see her. Will update you guys on my day tomorrow.

Goodnight,
Adriana

Thanks Adriana for your comments. You are the sole Senior on this trip and for you this is a vital and important time to evaluate whether you want to apply to Brown University. Now that you are on campus you have a chance to visit a college lecture as well as speak to current students.

Please take some pictures which will allow us to see what New England looks like during the fall season. I have never been on the East Coast during late fall, so it will be nice to see a visual and you can do this with posting pictures on the blog.

I am glad that the flight was smooth and that everyone got a bite to eat with your professor from last summer. I am happy that you had a chance to reunite with her. Remember she is also a Brown University graduate.

Hope all else is well and enjoy the Conference.

Adriana⎯Thanks for the update.

I already know how aware you all are of the magnitude of this opportunity and I already know how grateful you all are for what’s being placed in front of you. On the other hand, I can’t help but feel very envious. I would have killed or maimed to have been offered these opportunities⎯but they just weren’t there for us.

As it is, those of us you left behind are left to live out these fantasies through each of you. That’s one of the reasons these blog postings are so important to us. Not only do they give you all an opportunity to think a bit more about what’s happening to you but it allows us to share it all with you from the comfort of our own homes.
